One of our Thanksgiving traditions is that we go to the Christkindlmart in the morning and select a new ornament for our tree. We try to pick one that represents the previous year which makes me absolutely love opening my box of ornaments to decorate the tree- our picks combined with old family ornaments from as far back as the 1940s, it’s like looking at a storybook.

2 of the best things of our 2014 were definitely our wedding and honeymoon. To represent that on our tree, we selected an ornament with “My Kind of Town” on it because we walked into that song at our wedding reception and a glass Prosecco bottle because the bubbly was definitely free-flowing during our 10 days in Italy. Excellent additions to our little collection.
