One of my very favorite families, celebrating summer on the other side of Lake Michigan. I can just see them spending all day in the water, dinner with swimsuits still on and sand on their feet, rushing down to the beach to wave goodbye to the sun until they wake up and do it all over again tomorrow.
Sweet, sweet summertime.

Chicago has been chosen as Vogue’s Destination of the Month for August and reading Richard Alleman’s article reminded me once again how many shades of awesome our fair city is.

Music Festivals catered by celebrity chefs? Check!
World class (and Michelin starred, might I add!) eats? Check, check and check!
And come summer, Chicago might as well be one big beach town.
