The entire walk home from getting takeout at the Goddess and the Grocer, I was craving a glass of white wine. Something about walking past everyone sitting outside for dinner with their cocktails. I didn’t have a bottle chilling in the fridge but I remembered a little trick I learned from my step-mom, who always requests this alongside of her glass of white at restaurants (homegirl likes her pinot cold!).
The trick to instantly cold white wine? Fill a martini shaker to the top with ice, pour in wine, shake, shake, shake it up and voila! Ice cold white wine without a second in the fridge.
My step-mom is one smart cookie wine connoisseur.
